Summer boot camp
Sean Jeffries will lead a 1-2 week boot camp in summer (TBD) where hands-on coaching will be done for each project. This will be a personal boot camp in Germany.
Boot camp DFG Summer 2025
This week (June 23-25 2025), we had the pleasure of running an exciting AI bootcamp in Saarbrücken as part of the SteigerKI initiative, aimed at introducing high school students to the world of artificial intelligence! After completing their introductory course, the students dove into hands-on project work across this year's three themes: AI in medicine, education, and sustainability. Throughout the week, we explored Python programming, machine learning concepts, and real-world AI applications. With support from our team at McGill University, each group learned how to manage/select their own project ideas and began shaping their vision. It was inspiring to see such creativity, curiosity, and collaboration from the next generation of AI thinkers!
